Shrimping on the MS Gulf Coast : One of our top three industries, shrimping and fishing are our way of life and much appreciated. When the rest of the country are eating frozen shrimp and crabs and grouper, flounder, and snapper, etc, we are eating them fresh out of the sea. And how 'bout $3.00 a pound for beautiful large white or brown shrimp instead of $7 - $10? That's what I'm talkin about!

USM, Hattiesburg Zoo & Depot : This featured fellow, Mr. Emu is my new best friend. And he doesn't even know it yet. And please don't tell my other ones. No need hurting their feelings. Yet, Mr. Emu treated me with love and respect when I arrived at his home. He showed great interest in me and strutted his stuff in front of us.
