Summering in Highlands : Here for the month of August, my lenses are getting quite a workout. I have included personal family pictures too, cause they will want to see them. BTW, I am going to Vegas for the Photoshop World Convention as soon as I leave here. Hot fun in the city! Scratch that, stupid Hurricane Gustav came along and I was afraid it was going to hit us so I couldn't go to Vegas. Grrrrrr.

Mountain Flowers : Is it just me or are the flowers always more beautiful in the NC Appalachain Mountains??? This is a beautiful garden. Page One was shot in the early afternoon with blazing sun (all of 78 degrees) and Page Two was shot about 9:30 a.m., a cool breezy 68 degrees.
