This trip was supposed to be David and Barbara, but Brooke got to go because of Hurricane Ivan. No one knew where it would land and at the last minute, it turned and went to Orange Beach and Pensacola. It, destroyed our condo while Brooke and I were abroad. David stayed behind in case it went to Gulfport.
Forgive me for not remembering which city is which. Yea, I know, pretty dumb, but they are so similar. The city of Budapest is actually two cities in one. On one side of the Danube, is Buda and the other is Pest. FYI, Pest is pronounced Pesht.
another view of the Pest side of Budapest. The river splits the city into Buda and Pest. (Pronounced Pesht)

After our tour of Prague Castle, we went down to the Falcon training area. Brooke had gotten lots of attention from the Castle guide and now she got it from the Falconer too. I love taking her places and watching the guys drool.

Mathias Catholic Curch tiled roof.
Once occupied by the Turks (boo), and originally a Mosque, this church has a rich history. It was tampered with inside and ripped off. After becoming a Christian church, it was fully restored. Located in the Buda castle area of Budapest, it is a big tourist spot. Inside, there are replicas of the Crown Jewels.
In 1994, Serb terrorists have attempted to blow up the church by placing a bomb near the Gara chapel. Part of the church was indeed blown up, but fortunately nobody got hurt. In 1995, the church was fully repaired.
